1. Connect and Evaluate

  • Email us or schedule a call to discuss your project

  • Key questions to consider:

    • What are your creative, impact, or story objectives?

    • What is your budget for post-production?

    • What is the project timeframe?

  • We evaluate the scope of work

  • Provide a work order with an initial estimate

2. Onboard

  • Conduct a "spotting session" to identify focus areas in sound design or music

  • Important considerations:

    • Deliverable specifications

    • End goals within scope and budget limits

    • Timeline for picture lock and project deadlines

3. Kick It Off!

Example Sound Design / Re-Recording Mix Process:

  • Dialogue clean-up, EQing and mixing

  • Music balances and mixing

  • Build ambiences and sound effects

  • Send initial mix via Vimeo for review

Example Music Score Process:

  • Import picture-locked QuickTime

  • "Spot" the session

  • Create a cue list

  • Design instruments and compose initial theme

  • Send cues via Vimeo for review

4. Explore

Example Sound Design / Re-Recording Mix:

  • Make desired adjustments to the mix

  • Add any additional effects or transitional elements

  • Send V2 mix via Vimeo for review

Example Music Score:

  • Build out additional instruments

  • Begin voicing and composing cues

5. Refine

Example Sound Design / Re-Recording Mix:

  • Adjust or "sweeten" the mix via in-person review session in the studio, when possible.

  • Print Mixes and Stems for streaming and theatrical release or broadcast specs

Example Music Score:

  • Revise cues

  • Mix and Master Score

  • Print Mixes and Stems
