About Forrest

Forrest Lotterhos (they/he) is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in immersive sound design that challenges perceptions and inspires actionable change. With a background in documentary editing and expertise as a sound designer and re-recording mixer for film and commercial productions, Forrest creates sensory-rich experiences.

Their work, which has been featured at prestigious venues like Sundance and Telluride, uses the often-overlooked power of sound to craft emotionally resonant narratives. As a trans, queer, and neurodivergent artist, Forrest's personal experiences deeply inform their creative approach. Their work invites audiences to slow down, turn inward, and engage with complex social issues through a lens of empathy and introspection.

It’s been fantastic to work with Forrest — what a beautiful experience overall. He added his flair and artistic sensibilities to the project. Getting to work with artists like Forrest is what makes this entire process so exciting for me.
— Jabarie Brown (Director)
