About Forrest

Forrest (he/they) creates work that inspires actionable change and amplifies underrepresented voices. He develops sensory-rich, emotionally immersive media that slows down audiences and invites them to go inwards. Sound is his entry point into storytelling and he uses this often under-utilized power to elevate productions.

With a background in documentary film editing focused on climate action and social justice impact, Forrest has had work featured in The National Geographic, at Sundance, Telluride, and over 30+ international film festivals. He’s worked on 300+ projects in various roles.

Forrest is trans, queer and neurodivergent. These identities and experiences deeply inform how he shows up in the world and as a story facilitator. He believes that creating space for divergent folks in media can help us rewrite and reroute our collective imagination.

It’s been fantastic to work with Forrest — what a beautiful experience overall. I listen back to his original scoring and it makes me smile every single time. He added his flair and artistic sensibilities to the project. Getting to work with artists like Forrest is what makes this entire process so exciting for me.
